The Girl with the Colorful Face Diptych
Another couple shots of my friend Kristina Horner. Had this idea to paint a color wheel on someone’s face, asked if they would help me, bought the face paint, and voila! I thought these two went particularly well together, providing a contrast between the full face paint and the just-after-washing-her-face paint.

Shores of the Turquoise River
View across a very turquoise-colored section of the Eldred River, running through the Eldred Valley mountains of Powell River, B.C. This was taken almost immediately after an area of rapids, thus the fast flow even with a 0.3s shutter.

This waterfall, along with the others in the series, are unnamed rivers coming from the mountains surrounding the valley. They flow down to the Eldred River, which empties into Desolation Sound.
